Event Details:

Join local playwright William Lottering and local theatre company Easy Street Players as they present a reading of Lottering's one-act play "Camping with Bob".

Two couples have set up camp in the wilderness on a lake shore. According to Bob and Sally, Ted needs to be discouraged from his relationship with gum-chewing, Poppie, who is much younger. Bob, who usually goes camping every year without Sally, has invited Ted and Poppie. However, a few things will happen tonight before they realize the trip has gone wrong. Building off of a fun and successful play reading event in 2024, "Camping with Bob" offers a funny and recognizable portrait of a couple's weekend away in the wild.

As the play is read outside of a conventional theatre, Lottering will involve some volunteers. The activities will end with a question period.
