In 2025 a Canadian dive team discovered a remarkable 200-year-old shipwreck in Lake Ontario. Team member Heison Chak shares the story behind the discovery focusing on the role of disciplined observation, archival research, and collaborative practice. The talk highlights how curiosity, rigour, and respect for cultural heritage can reveal significant sites close to home.

Heison is a Canadian diving professional, expedition leader, and educator with over 20 years of experience in recreational, technical, cave, and rebreather diving.
